I have loved art ever since I could remember. I have drawn many sketches of nature; from leaves to Koi to Horses. But, one day I got given a camera and I fell in love with photography. So, this is what I do in my spare time! I am mainly interested in photographing nature and animals but I would like to broaden my interest and photograph cityscapes in the future.
Besides photography I love playing guitar, watching movies, gaming, laughing and making YouTube videos.

Hey! I haven't created a journal entry in like...yonks! So I just thought I'd do one on my trip to New York that is coming up very shortly!
So, yeah! Be prepared for a ton load of photo's because in 27 days (25th May) I'll be off to New York on a 5 day trip for my Media studies lesson with my cousin, Natasha and my friend, Charlotte. In those 5 days we will be cramming a load of activities in so we get to see all the main places. We're going to Ground Zero, 9/11 memorial museum, up the Empire State building (at sunset so I'll be getting some pretty pictures I suspect!), to the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Central Park, Bloomingdales, FAO

Getting a new camera!!

I am so excited to announce that I am getting a new camera for Christmas! The camera I am getting is the Nikon D3000. The D3000 is a high-performance DX-format SLR that delivers fantastic images and boasts a range of functions, which make photography simple and fun. It also has a Guide Mode that offers user friendly in camera assistance, enabling beginners like myself to capture great images. This camera is ideal for me because I have never used a high performance camera like this and as I stated before, it enables beginners to capture great images with the Guide Mode, so I will be able to understand how the camera works and so on.
